Двукратное внутримышечное введение верибена крупному рогатому скоту в дозе 1 мл на 20 кг живой массы с интервалом в 24 ч оказывает высокий терапевтический эффект. У подопытных животных после первой инъекции верибена наблюдали резкое снижение уровня паразитемии, а после второй инъекции паразитов в крови не обнаруживали. Также отмечали снижение температуры тела до нормы и улучшение общего состояния животных. У животных второй и третьей групп, получавших верибен из расчета соответственно 1 мл на 30 и 40 кг массы тела, уровень паразитемии снижался, но бабезии в крови сохранялись. Температура тела оставалась повышенной, клинические признаки бабезиоза не исчезали.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Data on efficacy of application of Veriben in specific and symptomatic treat-ment of cattle naturally infected with Babesia bovis are presented. It was deter-mined that a twice intramuscular injection of Veriben to cattle in the dose of 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight with an interval of 24 hours provides an effective treat-ment. The lower doses did not show a good efficacy. Symptomatic treatment pro-vides more quickly recovery of sick animals. In the animals of the 1st group after the 1st injection of Veriben was observed a sharp decrease of parasitemia and after the 2nd injection no parasites in blood were detected. Drop of body temperature to normal and improvement of welfare of animals were also observed.
